Reed Sorenson Pre-Race Notes and Quotes: Texas

Apr 03, 2014

Huntersville, NC (April 3, 2014) - Reed Sorenson and the No. 36 Tommy Baldwin Racing Chevrolet head to Texas Motor Speedway for the Duck Commander 500 looking for a renewed sense of focus and setting their sights on a good finish.

On Friday, in partnership with Sons of the Flag, Sorenson will travel to Parkland Memorial Hospital to visit with burn survivors. He hopes to bring a little joy to patients who are struggling on a daily basis to make gains towards a familiar and normal life.

At the Track: Reed Sorenson will be at the Team Chevy stage at 12 p.m. on Saturday for a live Q&A.

Reed Sorenson on heading to Texas Motor Speedway: "I am excited to be heading to Texas Motor Speedway this weekend for the Wild Circus. This weekend is also special for me because I will be visiting the Dallas Burn Hospital on Friday morning. It will be great to bring some happiness to our troops and the staff at the Parkland Hospital. Hopefully it will be a good weekend for everyone at Tommy Baldwin Racing and the No. 36 Chevrolet."

Crew Chief Todd Parrott's keys to the race: "Texas is a fast race track where track position is important. Balance is key, you need to be good tight on entry and able to turn in the center."
